Sansevieria cordova variegated, commonly known as the variegated snake plant, is a striking and hardy perennial known for its attractive foliage and air-purifying qualities.

Care & Growing Condition:

  • Light: Prefers indirect light but can tolerate low light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

  • Water: Water moderately; allow the soil to dry out between waterings. In the growing season (spring and summer), water every 4 - 6 weeks, and reduce frequency in the fall and winter.

  • Humidity: This plant prefers moderate to high humidity but can adapt to average household conditions. If the air is particularly dry, consider misting the plant occasionally or placing a humidifier nearby.

  • Soil: Use well-draining potting soil, ideally a cactus or succulent mix. A pot with drainage holes is recommended to prevent root rot.

  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring to summer). During fall and winter, reduce or cease fertilization.

  • Repotting: Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one and ensure it has drainage holes.

  • Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to maintain plant health and appearance.
