Euphorbia mammillaris (often called corn-cob euphorbia) — a columnar, succulent shrub with segmented, ridged stems that form upright clumps; small cyathia (flowers) appear at stem tips. Attractive architectural form, low-maintenance.

Care & Growing Condition:

  • Light: Bright light to full sun; 4–6+ hours direct sun ideal for compact growth. Indoors place near a south- or west-facing window.
  • Water: Drought-tolerant. Water thoroughly, then let soil dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
  • Soil: Fast-draining cactus/succulent mix (add pumice or coarse sand).
  • Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C); protect from frost (avoid below ~40°F/4–5°C).
  • Humidity: Low to moderate humidity; normal indoor levels are fine.
  • Fertilizer: Feed lightly in growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced, diluted cactus fertilizer every 4–6 weeks.
  • Propagation: Stem cuttings (allow callus) or seed. Wear gloves; sap is irritating.
  • Pests/diseases: Watch for mealybugs, scale, root rot from overwatering.
