Aglaonema ‘Tricolor’ is a decorative Chinese evergreen with broad, pointed leaves patterned in green, cream, and pink. Its colorful foliage makes it a striking indoor plant, and it generally grows slowly into a compact, leafy clump.
Care & Growing Condition:
-
Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the colors vivid. It can tolerate lower light, but growth may slow and the variegation may fade. Avoid strong direct sun.
-
Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm (about 1 in) of soil feels dry. Let excess water drain; don’t leave the pot sitting in water.
-
Soil: Use a loose, well-draining indoor potting mix and a pot with drainage holes.
-
Temperature and humidity: Keep it warm and away from cold drafts. Average household humidity is usually fine; higher humidity can help the leaves look their best.
-
Feeding: During spring and summer, apply a balanced houseplant fertilizer at half strength, following the product label. Reduce or pause feeding in winter.
-
Maintenance: Wipe dust from the leaves and remove yellow or damaged foliage. Repot when the plant becomes crowded, usually into a pot only one size larger.
