6" Pothos Hawaii

$20.00

Pothos Hawaii is a popular houseplant recognized for its vibrant, heart-shaped leaves adorned with distinctive marbled patterns of green and creamy gold. This lush, trailing vine is native to the Solomon Islands but has gained popularity worldwide due to its striking appearance and ease of care. The Pothos Hawaii variety adds a tropical touch to any indoor environment and can thrive in various light conditions, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.

Care & Growing Condition:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight but can adapt to low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

  • Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

  • Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity but is relatively adaptable. Mist the leaves occasionally to enhance humidity, especially in dry environments.

  • Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one formulated for houseplants. A mix containing peat, perlite, or orchid bark works well.

  • Fertilizer: Fertilize every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced houseplant fertilizer.

  • Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is 1-2 inches larger in diameter than the current one.

  • Pruning: Prune as needed to control growth and maintain shape. Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to encourage new growth.

  • Propagation: Pothos can be easily propagated through stem cuttings. Cut a 4-6 inch section below a leaf node, place it in water or soil, and roots will develop in a few weeks.
